Special Entertainment on Labor Day, Sept. 6, To Usher in Fall Season at Morgan’s Wonderland

SAN ANTONIO, TX, August 30, 2021 – Morgan’s Wonderland will observe Labor Day – Monday, Sept. 6 – with special entertainment, and the holiday will mark the beginning of the fall season at the world’s first theme park designed with individuals with special needs in mind and built for everyone’s enjoyment.

The affordable, Ultra-Accessible™, fully-inclusive park will be open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, Sept. 6. Leading up to Labor Day, Morgan’s Wonderland will be open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 3; 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 4; and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 5.

Meanwhile, next-door Morgan’s Inspiration Island will be open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 4; 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 5; and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, Sept. 6, Labor Day, the final day of the splash park’s 2021 summer season.

Special entertainment on Labor Day at Morgan’s Wonderland will include an 11:30 a.m. performance of “The Adventures of Captain Inclusion Show” starring popular puppet Hartman and his sidekick, Captain Inclusion. The show includes feats of magic and offers ways on how to forge phenomenal friendships. In addition, another dynamic duo – Professor Flutterwing and his caterpillar puppet friend Dr. Kindly – will be strolling through the park, interacting with guests and posing for photos from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

At Morgan’s Inspiration Island, guests will enjoy all kinds of aquatic fun in the sun, thanks to spouts, geysers, dumping buckets and lots of other get-wet gizmos. The splash park includes five major, tropically-themed splash pads, the River Boat Adventure ride and support facilities such as the Wheelchair Valet, where guests can transfer out of their personal chairs into specially-designed waterproof wheelchairs.

“Even though summer vacation is over and school has resumed, Morgan’s Wonderland will continue to offer family fun on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in September, October and November,” said Ron Morander, chief operating officer of Morgan’s Inclusion Initiative, which coordinates planning, fundraising and communication for all Morgan’s Wonderland-related ventures. “Then we’ll close our 2021 season with our More Delightful Than Frightful Halloween on Oct. 31 and another colorful and festive ‘A Wonderland Christmas’ celebration on select evenings in late November and December.”

The only theme park of its kind in the world, Morgan’s Wonderland offers more than 25 attractions including wheelchair-accessible rides, playgrounds and gardens for everyone’s enjoyment.
