Morgan’s Wonderland to Host More Delightful Than Frightful Halloween Benefiting Food Bank

WHO: Children age 12 and younger and individuals with special needs of all ages, along with family members and caregivers.

WHAT: More Delightful Than Frightful Halloween celebration benefitting the San Antonio Food Bank.

WHEN: 4:30-8:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 31, 2022.

WHERE: Morgan’s Wonderland, 5223 David Edwards Drive (at the intersection of Wurzbach Parkway and Thousand Oaks Drive, just west of IH 35 in Northeast San Antonio.)

WHY: To offer a fun, safe Halloween experience as well as to assist the Food Bank in fighting hunger in 16 Southwest Texas counties.

ETC.: Participants can wear their more-delightful-than-frightful Halloween costumes and enjoy the unique 25-acre theme park and all its attractions that are accessible to everyone. The popular event will include complimentary trick-or-treating, music aired by a DJ, games and more.

Each person who brings five non-perishable food items (such as peanut butter, canned tuna or canned chicken, etc.) to Morgan’s Wonderland before Oct. 31 will receive a coupon good for one free admission ticket to Morgan’s Wonderland for More Delightful Than Frightful. For those who prefer to purchase admission tickets, the price is $5 per person. On the day of Halloween, admission will be free for those with special needs and $5 for everyone else. All food donations will go directly to the San Antonio Food Bank.

District 5840 Rotary Clubs and H-E-B are partnering with Morgan’s Wonderland in staging More Delightful Than Frightful.
