Make-A-Wish creates life-changing wishes to kids with critical illnesses. Established in 1984, Make-A-Wish Central & South Texas has granted over 4,800 wishes with the help of more than 250 active volunteers and a community of generous donors. Research shows that kids who have wishes granted build the emotional and physical strength to fight their illness. A wish has the power to change lives and produce better health outcomes.
