WHO: Children age 12 and younger and special-needs individuals of all ages, along with family members and caregivers.
WHAT: “More Delightful Than Frightful” Halloween celebration benefitting the San Antonio Food Bank.
WHEN: 4:30-8:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 31, 2016.
WHERE: Morgan’s Wonderland, 5223 David Edwards Drive (at the intersection of Wurzbach Parkway and Thousand Oaks Drive a half-mile west of IH 35 in Northeast San Antonio.)
WHY: To offer a fun, safe Halloween experience as well as assist the Food Bank in fighting hunger in 16 Southwest Texas counties.
ETC.: Participants can wear their more-delightful-than-frightful Halloween costumes and go trick-or-treating while they enjoy the unique 25-acre theme park and all its attractions that are accessible to everyone.
Each person who brings three or more non-perishable food items to Morgan’s Wonderland not later than Oct. 30 will receive a coupon good for free admission to Morgan’s Wonderland for More Delightful Than Frightful. For those who prefer to purchase admission tickets at $5 per person, tickets will be on sale up to and including Oct. 31. Admission will be free for anyone with a special need.
All food donations and a portion of More Delightful Than Frightful admissions revenue will go directly to the Food Bank.
District 5840 Rotary Clubs are partnering with Morgan’s Wonderland in staging More Delightful Than Frightful.
